Cancellation Policy

How our cancellation and refund works

Owners and Renters can cancel a reservation any time up to 48 hours the start of the reservation.
Cancellations by either Owners or Renters can only be made via calls via WhatsApp 0198883409 only (written/typed).

Up to 48 hours before trip commencement 
- Cancellation possible by Owner or Renter.
- Full refund issued to Renter. Owner does not receive payment.

Less than 48 hours before trip commencement 
- Cancellation not possible by Owner or Renter.
- No refunds issued if Renter does not collect vehicle.

Owner Cancellation
- Owners are required to respond to a reservation request within 24 hours. Failure to do so will result in auto-cancellation of the request, and missed earnings for the owner.
- Reservations can only be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the start of the Trip.
- It is not possible to cancel a Reservation less than 48 hours before the start of a Trip. See Cancellation Scenario below.
- If an Owner cancels a Reservation more than 48 hours prior to the Trip commencement, the Renters is issued a full refund and the Owner does not receive payment.


Cancellation by Renters
- Reservations can only be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the start of the reservation (see example below).
Reservations requests can be cancelled before an Owner responds to the reservation request.
It is not possible to cancel a Reservation less than 48 hours before the start of a Trip.
- Refunds are not issued if the Renter does not collect the vehicle.
Cancellations made prior to the no-cancellation period (48 hours before the start of the reservation) are eligible for a full refund. The payment amount will be credited to the Renter’s account usually within 3-5 days of cancellation.

Cancellation Scenarios
A booking is made on 2 December for a Trip starting at 12:00PM, 6th December 2021.
- Cancellation is possible any time before 12.00PM, 4th December 2021 (48 hours before start of reservation).
- If the Trip or Reservation is cancelled prior to 12.00PM, 4th December 2021, the Renter receives a full refund.
- After 12.00PM, 4th December 2021, it is not possible to cancel the Trip or Reservation.
- If the Renter does not collect the car, the full payment amount is forfeited.
